Where MarginFuel is stronger

It's a full revenue management system. It forecasts demand, ties price to utilisation and fleet position, and manages rates across channels and agents. It keeps history, sends alerts and connects to booking systems.

Those are all things Rate Pulse doesn't do. Rate Pulse shows one booking site, 3-day hires and 14 days ahead.

Where Rate Pulse is stronger

It's free to use in full, with no demo or setup. Leave an email and every airport page opens.

It works at airport level, with every brand that appears on rentalcars.com ranked by customer rating. Sub-scores like pick-up time and car condition sit next to each brand's price position.

It lists confirmed events, public holidays and school holidays in the window, each with a source. And the dashboards are in 6 languages.

Who each one suits

MarginFuel suits vehicle rental operators managing a lot of prices across locations and channels, who want forecasting and automated pricing in one system.

Rate Pulse suits operators who want a free daily read of their airport's market and its customer ratings, or who are weighing up a new airport. Many small operators aren't ready for a full system yet, and that's fine.

If you're not sure which stage you're at, our revenue management consulting can help you work it out.
