How to change the currency and language
Use the Currency picker to show rates in 13 currencies, and the language links for English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German or Italian.
Each airport page opens in that airport's own currency. To change it, use the Currency picker near the top of the page and choose from 13 currencies. To change language, click English, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch or Italiano in the language links beside it.

The 13 currencies
GBP, EUR, USD, MXN, BRL, COP, CLP, PEN, ARS, AUD, NZD, THB and IDR. That's the listed airports' own currencies plus USD, EUR, GBP, AUD and NZD.
How conversion works
We store every price in NZ dollars, the way rentalcars.com shows it to a visitor searching from New Zealand. The page converts it using European Central Bank rates, fetched through Frankfurter. The note under the market rates table gives the exchange rate date.
A worked example. In the Rate Pulse sweep of 7 Nov 2026, the typical compact rate at Madrid Barajas showed as €31 a day. The euro rate that day was 0.4965 per NZ dollar, so that's about NZ$62 before rounding on the page.
Two things follow from this:
- Switching currency doesn't change the underlying price, only how it's shown.
- Small differences between cities can come from exchange rates. When you compare airports, set the same currency on each.
Things to know
- The page's own currency shows with its plain symbol, like €. Others show with their code, like US$, so they can't be mixed up.
- The page text and labels are translated, including the form and the Currency picker. Brand names stay as they are.
