The step that matters most: mapping
Your system calls a car "Corolla or similar, auto" or "Group C". The market calls it compact. Until those line up, any comparison is wrong.
So for each of your car types we agree one market category. Where you use ACRISS codes it's quick: CDAR is a compact, 4 to 5 doors, automatic, air con. Where you don't, we go through the fleet list with you once.
A worked example. Say your system has eight car groups. Two are near-identical small autos that you price differently. Both map to economy. Now you can see that one of them sits 20% over the market typical and the other 5% under, for the same car. That's a pricing fix you'd never spot inside the booking system.
What we pull
- bookings: pick-up and return dates, car type, location, the date booked and the rate
- fleet: how many of each car type, by location, by date
- cancellations, so pace isn't inflated
