Rezdy takes the booking and sells through agents. DayRunner plans tomorrow's drivers, vehicles and messages from those bookings. How they fit.
Rezdy is a booking system: it takes bookings online, manages availability and sells through agents and resellers. DayRunner doesn't do any of that. It reads tomorrow's orders from Rezdy, puts a driver and vehicle on every run, checks licence class, seats and NZ work time, and drafts the messages for you to approve. You keep Rezdy.
Rezdy is built to sell. Its pricing page lists online booking, the Rezdy Channel Manager, and access to more than 12,000 agents on every plan, with unlimited products and users. For a lot of NZ tour operators, that agent network is the reason they're on it.
It also covers the basics after the sale. Every plan includes guest manifests and resource management. Per Rezdy's help article on resources, you can attach vehicles or guides to sessions and Rezdy allocates bookings to them. By default it fills the first resource until it's full, then the next, and you can move bookings by hand.

This is the usual setup. Rezdy stays your booking system and your shop window to agents. DayRunner reads tomorrow's orders and does the planning.
New, changed and cancelled Rezdy orders come into DayRunner by webhook, using an API key from your Rezdy account. Rezdy's pricing page lists the Developer API and webhooks on its Expansion plan. If you're on Foundation or Accelerate, export tomorrow's bookings as a CSV and drop it into DayRunner. It remembers your column mapping for next time. We set either path up with you. See integrations.
From there, DayRunner plans the day: a driver and vehicle on every run, checked for licence class, P endorsement, seats, availability and work time. It drafts each guest's pickup message, supplier reconfirmations and driver briefs. Sending email, SMS and WhatsApp for you is rolling out with pilots. Nothing goes until you approve it.
