Connect Rental Car Manager (RCM)
For campervan and rental operators. Each RCM reservation becomes a handover or return on the Day page. We set RCM up with you.
Each Rental Car Manager reservation becomes a departure on the Day page, labelled as a handover or a return. That lets you plan who's doing pickups, drop-offs and vehicle prep. Only an owner can see the Connectors page.
RCM accounts differ, so we set RCM up with every pilot. Book a time from Get help, then Book a call.
Steps
Open Connectors
In DayRunner, click Connectors and find the Rental Car Manager panel.
Get the webhook URL
Click Save. The fields can stay empty for webhooks. A Webhook URL appears.
Point RCM at it
In RCM, set up a webhook that posts new and changed reservations to that URL. We do this step with you on the call.
Pull existing reservations
Fill in the API fields below, click Save, then Pull tomorrow's bookings now.
The API fields are:
- API base, e.g. https://apis.rentalcarmanager.com/booking/v3.x
- Reservations path
- Account id
- Departure label (Handover / Return)
- RCM API key
Good to know
- RCM field names vary between accounts. If a pull needs a field map, we set it up for you.
- Until the connector is live, export tomorrow's handovers from RCM as a CSV and import them.
