Cumulative work day

A cumulative work day is the work a driver does between 10-hour rests, capped at 13 hours of work time under NZ rules.

A cumulative work day is any period of up to 24 hours that starts after a driver has had at least 10 hours' continuous rest. Under the NZ work time rules a driver can do no more than 13 hours of work time in it. It isn't the calendar day: a 2pm start and a 1am finish is one work day.
