A rest break is at least 30 minutes off work, not in a moving work vehicle. NZ drivers need one after 5.5 hours of work time.

A rest break is at least 30 minutes in a row that isn't work time and isn't spent in a moving work vehicle. Under the NZ work time rules a driver needs one after 5.5 hours of work time. Refuelling or taking bookings during it means it doesn't count.
